Former Baldwin-Whitehall School Board member Beverly Jo Coon has been convicted of arson, aggravated assault and attempted murder in September, 2006. Coon was found guilty of drugging her boyfriend and setting his apartment on fire last year. She was acquitted on one charge of stalking former Bethel Park Superintendent Ronald Grimm.
