Located just a few minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Beechview, part of the City of Pittsburgh, is a diverse community sitting on a ridge between the main transportation arteries of Banksville Road and West Liberty Avenue.

The main road in Beechview, Broadway Avenue, is home to the main line of Pittsburghs Trolley or Subway, aka The T, making this a great location for commuters.

The hills of Beechview are perhaps the communitys most distinct characteristic.

Bikers can challenge themselves on Beechviews Canton Avenue, the steepest street in the Pittsburgh region, with a grade of 37 percent. P-G article.

Beechview has a rich array of cultural activities, and is home to a Senior Citizens Center, a branch of the Carnegie Library and numerous churches and parks.
