Repaid $2,832 Senator Dominic Pileggi returned $2,832 in September.

Senator Pileggi voted for the 2005 pay raise and accepted “unvouchered expenses.”

Senator Dominic Pileggi returned the money months prior to the repeal after voting for both the raise and the unvouchered expenses. After receiving an increase of $2,831.71 [on] August 1, he had it stopped and taken out of his September check. "I notified the clerk I wanted to waive unvouchered expenses going forward," Pileggi said. "It wasn't a controversy I wanted to be involved in." (The Daily Times, December 2, 2005).
