Here is a draft and a couple of variations- trying to keep resolutions as simple as possible but still specific enough so that the district will not be able to give a glib response (such as, the comprehensive plan is "Excellence for All"); and, trying to focus on Schenley but recognizing that steps taken that do not involve Schenley may foreclose the Schenley option. And, recognizing that while resolution # 1 would be ideal we may not get that one (can the council direct the board to save Schenley at any cost?). Also as a last resort trying to hold on to Schenley so that it remains an option if renovation is not chosen and then district initiatives do not work out as planned, renovation of other buildings does not go as planned, funds become available (such as, from legislation under consideration for school renovation), etc. Please send your comments!
